1) What is Coriolus Versicolor (Yunzhi) PSP made of?
A: Coriolus Versicolor PSP, commonly known as Yunzhi PSP, is made from 100% extract
of natural Coriolus Versicolor (Yunzhi). The active ingredient PSP (Polysaccharide Peptide)
is a protein-bound polysaccharide that contains b1-3 glycosidic bond.
It is modernized and transformed into capsule form. Vcaps is in top quality made from plant
extracts, rather than the traditional gelatine capsule made from animal tissues.

13) Who is the founder for Coriolus Versicolor (Yunzhi) PSP?
A: Coriolus Versicolor (Yunzhi) PSP was invented in 1982 by the Shanghai Normal
University. “PSP” stands for Polysaccharide Peptide, a protein-bound polysaccharide
extracted from deep layer cultivated mycelia of the COV-1 strain of Coriolus Versicolor,
commonly known as Yunzhi.
14) Are Yunzhi clinical trials reliable?
A: Coriolus Versicolor (Yunzhi) PSP that had been tested under stringent clinical trials
through extensive research are reliable. Experts in the field of oncology in USA, UK, Korea,
Japan, Taiwan and New Zealand had reviewed the efficacy of the product and reported their
positive findings in various medical conferences specifically convened for Coriolus
Versicolor (Yunzhi) PSP in 1989, 1993, &1999 respectively.
15) What kind of test has been done to prove Coriolus Versicolor (Yunzhi) PSP?
A: PSP was invented and patented by the Shanghai Normal University in 1982. PSP took 10 years to finish
the three phases of clinical trials. The phase 2 and phase 3 random double-blind clinical trials
for PSP were conducted in 8 and 14 hospitals respectively with 485 and 650 patients in
different control groups. Completed in 1992, the tests clearly showed the efficacy of PSP.
In 1999, Hong Kong University did clinical trials again on PSP with same positive results
obtained. Since 1987, PSP has been used and has benefited millions of patients worldwide.
Its efficacy is proven and no side effect caused by PSP has ever been reported.
